Irresistible Angels

My first impression of the  Miniature Australian Shepherd
was when my daughter brought home a colorful ball of fur with
stunning blue eyes.  Come to find out that  ball of fur was a
Mini Australian Shepherd. The color of j is called a blue merle
with eyes to die for. But that was just the beginning. As I
watched her grow, I found she was smart as a whip and very
loyal. Everything she did was from her heart, her goal was to
please. She grew up to be very active, she loves to work the
horses, when she is allowed to. Her movement is awesome, great
herding instinct and an amazing agility dog. She loves everyone,
you can see it in her actions and the way she looks at you. Man,
I was so sold on her. At that point I decided I want to partake
in the betterment of an amazing breed.

So I started looking up everything I could on the
Toy and
Mini Aussies. The more I read on them, the more I liked them.
Next move was I wanted to raise
Aussies that could be used for
different things. Pets are a number one important thing for
people. Aussie’s love and live to please, they give their whole
self. I wanted dogs  who would have an awesome temperament
good social skills.  Very important for being around people and
especially children. I want dogs that would produce pups with
good conformation and agility drive. It was important to me
that they have a job and purpose whether it be for, herding,
showmanship, breeding or just playing fetch for you.  So my
next step would be to find the right kind of guys and gals to fill
my desire to rise to the top of the mini Aussie breed and excel in
the production of amazing companions.

Much to my surprise I found them, my loving sidekicks came
from O’neill’s Horse Farms and Mockingbird Hill. Awesome
dogs with great pedigree’s and championships behind them.
Both places have been in business for over 30 years. They started
out with standard Australian Shepherds.  They slowly started
working on developing the mini’s. That takes time to do it right.

My husband and I live on a farm. I have 38 acres in which my
dogs can run, when I am with them. We have a creek that they
love to play in. Sometimes they just play in the horse water
while the horses are trying to drink. Our 4 kids and 6 grand kids
live close by, Giving me the opportunity to pass on the love of
this breed to them (also makes for amazing socialization for the
dogs and pups.) So they are around the dogs and pups, giving my
puppies the chance to encounter all sorts of new and great
things young children can come up with! Their other favorite
pastime is to go with me to town of course we have to sort out
who gets to go that day. Much to my surprise I found just what
I was looking for, My loving sidekicks  .
